Proteins, carbohydrates and fats are the sources that the human body uses to grow and sustain

life. Every person on this earth utilizes those three main sources whenever it is available on a daily basis. So lets direct our attention to protein and the different kinds of food proteins and the best proteins that will aid you in trimming down your physique in the fastest time possible for you.

Protein and traces of protein is in practically every food that we consume but the amount of protein per gram and the quality of the protein varies from food to food. Milk, egg, cheese, beef, whey protein, fish, soy, and cottage cheese just to name a few are all good sources of protein but there are discrepancies in some of them for an individual that has a goal of losing weight or fat. Milk has a high amount of fat in it and I know some of you will say “but why not buy skim milk” and your question is quite fair. Milk has a good quality of protein in it but it also tends to constipate a good majority of the population if you drink it in excess. Also there is a much better quality of protein that will give you outstanding results and less taxing on the digestive system and it is called good old whey protein. Now if you absolutely have to have skim milk or regular milk then by all means do but keep in mind the purpose of this section is to give you the “best” sources of protein and the “best” quality of protein.

Now I would rank egg protein as number one and number two would be fish protein. Egg protein is probably my all time favorite because it is packed with a lot of high quality protein per egg (about 3 grams ). The human body easily utilizes the high quality of protein from egg whites to build and repair muscle. For those of you that do not know already, when I say egg protein, I am not talking about the yolk. The yolk inside the egg is all fat! I am talking about the egg white only. There are products out there that will make your life easier if you do not like to boil and then crack your eggs. Some of them offer 100% egg white protein and some offer egg whites that are in their liquid form that can be bought in 16oz cartons in your neighborhood grocery store or ordered online in 64oz containers! Next on my list is chicken tender loins. This is a great source of protein that you can flavor according to your own tastes that would make a gourmet chef envious. Also, cold water fish like flounder, cod, halibut, ocean perch to name a few has lots of high quality protein in them for the building and repairing of muscle. Egg protein, chicken tenders and fish are the best high quality proteins that will help get you in the best shape in the shortest time possible.
